Manners For Mutts

This manners class is for the dogs who may have been kicked out of doggy daycare or day boarding facilities. For those who may get “crazy” at dog parks, those who may not make friends very easily, those who have ✨demanding✨, or pushy personalities, for those who are overzealous, too hyper, and hard to handle. Or for the dogs who simply need to learn some manners.

Basic cues are taught with each lesson, instilling the manners as we go. Just like us, dogs need to be trained to have these things, and that is where we come in.

Things we teach include:

  • Learning to avoid dog tiffs and fights by learning proper on/off leash dog greeting skills.
  • How to help your dog gain friends by teaching respectful play and socialization skills.
  • Communication cues that help your dog respect you, and your expectations.
  • How to address their behaviors, good or bad.

About Me

My name is Kaley and I’m a certified professional dog trainer and behavior consultant. I am educated in Animal Psychology, and certified in Pet/Human First Aid and CPR.

Other than my 4 years of experiences training, my history in positive reinforcement and behavior modification started with the education system over a decade ago. Some say owning a dog is like having a child and for some that’s true. Which is where I do my best work. Helping you develop a better relationship with your fur-baby! Or helping you the get very best kind of friend you could ask for. I use moral training: Positive Reinforcement and force free methods.

I’ve been lucky to have the best-est of friends, Purdy, my psychiatric service dog in-training. You’ll see her pictures through out the website 🙂 Purdy is an amazing dog and her personality is beautiful. Hopefully you’ll get to meet her but you can always follow her on Instagram! (See the Contact section.)

I’m currently seeking to further my education and be certified in much more. Due to the fact that I offer affordable training, donations are greatly appreciated towards developing my expertise.
